A starting brief for Ontario

A B2B inquiry an approver can understand.

For an Ontario business serving other organizations, the person researching may need approval before proceeding. We would make the offer reviewable and collect enough project context to support a useful estimate, without forcing the researcher to invent details they do not yet know.

This is a proposed direction to discuss, based on the customer task explored in our Ontario design guide. We also build for other business types; the final scope follows your actual needs.

01 / The website

What we would plan

  • Clear service scope and exclusions
  • An inquiry for project needs, timing and organization
  • A review summary suitable for an internal handoff
02 / Your input

What to bring

Bring your qualification questions, typical approval process and what must be known before quoting.

We review the customer journey, content and operational limits together before selecting features or committing to a build.

See the work

Look beyond the first screen.

Explore this example for its layout, information hierarchy and path to a customer action. Then compare it with the requirements in your brief.

Your website should represent your own services and operating rules. We agree which content controls, forms and integrations belong in the project.

A clear starting point

Website pricing, without the guesswork.

Our business website service is $1,500 per year for the agreed website scope, managed hosting and ordinary ongoing care.

Pay in full$1,500

For the service year.

Split the launch$750 + $750

To begin, then before launch.

Spread the payments$300 + 12 × $100

First monthly payment 30 days after the deposit.

Each option totals $1,500. The service year starts at launch. Domain registration and renewal are separate. Custom software, substantial integrations and ongoing content campaigns require a separate written scope. The project example on this page is a starting brief; included features are agreed before work begins.

Agree the finish line

A practical test before launch.

Have one reviewer prepare a request and another assess it; the desired work and unresolved questions should be obvious.

We use a review version to check the agreed journey with you. The launch review also covers phone layouts, keyboard navigation, form feedback, important links, page titles and crawlable content.

Before we begin

Questions for your Ontario project.

How would this project direction be scoped?

A basic inquiry can support a manual business sales process. Customer accounts, approval routing and recurring orders are separate software features to scope deliberately.

Do you work with businesses in Ontario?

Yes. The Data Architect offers web design for businesses in Ontario and across the cities in our service-area directory. We can collaborate remotely and discuss in-person meetings by arrangement. This is a service-area page, not a claim of a separate Ontario office.

Can I update the website after launch?

We agree your content editing needs during scoping and demonstrate the relevant owner workflow before handoff. Product records, booking logic, customer accounts and other business software may need additional development beyond page editing.

Can you help the website appear in search?

We prepare descriptive titles, useful page content, internal links, appropriate structured data and a sitemap. Search engines decide whether and when to index pages and how to rank them; those outcomes are not guaranteed by a website package.
